Pat Bertram, ABC-WI member and co-owner of Ahern Gross Plumbing of Fond du Lac, said Grothman’s leadership will help Wisconsin construction employers.

“From tax cuts to job training, Glenn has always been someone the hard working construction families of Wisconsin can count on to do what is right,” Bertram said. “That is why I am proud to represent ABC in recognizing Glenn for building Wisconsin.”

In addition to the pro-jobs legislation Grothman supported, he also coauthored the Commercial Building Code legislation.  This new law simplified and streamlined construction regulations for architects, builders and developers.

ABC-Wisconsin is a construction industry trade association representing nearly 900 employers. The Commercial Building Code was introduced as Senate Bill 617, and signed into law on April 17, 2014 as 2013 Wisconsin Act 270.
