Congressman Glenn Grothman recently had an opportunity to let his hair down and play the role of a rock jock for a Madison radio station. He recorded voice tracks to introduce some good old Rock and Roll. The tracks were actually recorded 2 to 3 months ago, but weren’t used until this past week. For the stint he selected songs from the 1970’s when he attended the U-W Madison. For those who listened in they heard songs that would have been heard in the dorms at the U-W Madison in 1973, 1974 and 1975. He didn’t get to hear what his air shift sounded like, but jokes he didn’t play any Steely Dan or the Eagles Hotel California.
